This charming hand-painted figurine inspired by Edgar Degas sculpture Petite Danseuse De Quatorze Ans (Little Dancer of Fourteen Years) from 1879-1881, has been individually crafted by experienced and highly skilled craftsmen.

Your very own piece of art, this figurine is based on Degas' delightful 'Little Dancer' sculpture. Made of resin, the figurine comes with an adorable fabric skirt and bow. The set also comes complete with a card including information about the painting and the artist Edgar Degas. The detail is provided in English, French, German and Dutch.

About the artist

Edgar Degas specialised in scenes of contemporary life, including dancers, entertainers and women at their toilette. The Petite Danseuse De Quatorze Ans (Little Dancer of Fourteen Years) sculpture was a revolutionary piece of art that broke the stereotypical cold inanimate sculptures of his time. Degas made his ballet dancer come to life and although it was received with some disapproval because of its stark realism, it has become one of the most time-honoured, beloved sculptures around the world.

Delivery with local carrier. Delivery times vary depending on the destination, but we endeavour to have them delivered within 15 working days of the order. Made to order products such as prints and personalised greetings cards may take up to 21 days.

International Express Delivery - within 10 working days

We aim to deliver goods within 10 working days of the order being placed.

Free Click & Collect - Currently Unavailable

Click & Collect is a free, next day delivery to store service. Orders will be available for collection from the Getty shop only (Opening Hours: Daily 10am – 5:45pm and Friday 10am – 8:45pm). Orders placed before 5pm will be ready for collection from 10am the next day. Orders placed after 5pm will be ready for collection from 2pm the next day.

Returns

As our custom prints are made to your specifications, we cannot accept returns or cancellations once payment has been made. Pierced earrings or face coverings cannot be returned unless they are faulty, or we have made a mistake due to health & safety reasons.
