Watercolour Swatches Memory Game

These 24 pairs of cards feature colourful watercolour swatches inspired by a vintage book written and illustrated in 1692 about mixing watercolours. 

Memory Game Instructions 

Setup 

Shuffle the cards and arrange them face down in rows. 

Gameplay 

Take it in turns to flip over any two cards. If the two cards match, keep the pair and take another turn. If there's no match, turn the cards back over and play moves to the next player. Continue until all 24 pairs have been found. 

Winning the Game 

The player with the most matched pairs wins. For solo play, try to beat your own record by finding all pairs in the shortest time or set yourself a fixed time limit to find as many pairs as you can before the time runs out.
