Vincent van Gogh

Few artists have the notoriety and legacy of Vincent van Gogh. One of the most important figures in art history, van Gogh’s work is among the most revered artistic collections in the world.
Born in the Netherlands in 1853, van Gogh is today one of the most popular post-impressionist painters in history, though he was not widely appreciated in his lifetime. Sunflowers, A Wheatfield, with Cypresses and Van Gogh’s Chair are some of his most celebrated paintings.
