Description

This spacious wooden paint palette is perfect for artists working with oil, acrylic, or water-based paints. Designed for flexibility, it can be prepared to suit your preferred medium with a simple sealing process.

Customizable for Different Paint Types:

Oil Paints: Seal with linseed oil for a smooth, absorbent surface.

Acrylic & Water-Based Paints: Use an acrylic sealer, clear polyurethane varnish, or diluted PVA glue for a protective finish.

Preparation Guide:

For Oil Painting: Apply multiple thin coats of linseed oil, allowing each layer to absorb and dry. Repeat until the wood no longer absorbs oil.

For Acrylics & Water-Based Paints: Apply 2–3 thin coats of acrylic sealer or varnish on both sides, letting each coat dry completely.

Important Note: Solvents can partially remove varnish or acrylic sealer. If using solvents, sealing with oil is recommended for better durability.

Delivery is £5.50. We aim to deliver goods within 5 working days but often arrive much sooner.

Due to the GPSR legislation changes we are unable to ship to Customers in Northern Ireland.

UK Express Delivery - within 3 working days

We aim to deliver goods within 3 working days of the order being placed.  

International Delivery - within 15 working days

Delivery with local carrier. Delivery times vary depending on the destination, but we endeavour to have them delivered within 15 working days of the order. Made to order products such as prints and personalised greetings cards may take up to 21 days. 

International Express Delivery - within 10 working days 

We aim to deliver goods within 10 working days of the order being placed.

Free Click & Collect - Currently Unavailable

Click & Collect is a free, next day delivery to store service. Orders will be available for collection from the Getty shop only (Opening Hours: Daily 10am – 5:45pm and Friday 10am – 8:45pm). Orders placed before 5pm will be ready for collection from 10am the next day. Orders placed after 5pm will be ready for collection from 2pm the next day.  

Returns

If for any reason you’re not entirely satisfied with your order – whether you have changed your mind or decided, you just don’t like it – we will gladly offer you a refund within 14 days of purchase. See our returns page for full details.  

As our custom prints are made to your specifications, we cannot accept returns or cancellations once payment has been made. Pierced earrings or face coverings cannot be returned unless they are faulty, or we have made a mistake due to health & safety reasons.
