A limited edition of 500 copies of The National Gallery: Masterpieces of Painting, published to celebrate the Gallery's Bicentenary in 2024. Offered in a bespoke presentation box handmade by specialist manufacturers in the UK, each copy includes a book plate individually numbered and signed by Sir Gabriele Finaldi, Director of the National Gallery, who has also written a special foreword to commemorate the occasion. 

Masterpieces of Painting is one of the Gallery’s most successful publications, providing an exceptional introduction to European paintings from the Middle Ages to the early twentieth century and showcasing over 275 of the collection’s most treasured pictures, including some outstanding recent acquisitions. Each work is richly illustrated and accompanied by a concise, illuminating text.

UK Standard Delivery (excluding NI) - within 5 working days

Delivery is £5.50. We aim to deliver goods within 5 working days but often arrive much sooner.

Due to the GPSR legislation changes we are unable to ship to Customers in Northern Ireland.

UK Express Delivery - within 3 working days

We aim to deliver goods within 3 working days of the order being placed.  

International Delivery - within 15 working days

Delivery with local carrier. Delivery times vary depending on the destination, but we endeavour to have them delivered within 15 working days of the order. Made to order products such as prints and personalised greetings cards may take up to 21 days. 

International Express Delivery - within 10 working days 

We aim to deliver goods within 10 working days of the order being placed.

Free Click & Collect - Currently Unavailable

Click & Collect is a free, next day delivery to store service. Orders will be available for collection from the Getty shop only (Opening Hours: Daily 10am – 5:45pm and Friday 10am – 8:45pm). Orders placed before 5pm will be ready for collection from 10am the next day. Orders placed after 5pm will be ready for collection from 2pm the next day.  

Returns

If for any reason you’re not entirely satisfied with your order – whether you have changed your mind or decided, you just don’t like it – we will gladly offer you a refund within 14 days of purchase. See our returns page for full details.  

As our custom prints are made to your specifications, we cannot accept returns or cancellations once payment has been made. Pierced earrings or face coverings cannot be returned unless they are faulty, or we have made a mistake due to health & safety reasons.
