In May 2024, the National Gallery will be celebrating its bicentenary, marking 200 years of bringing people and paintings together. 

Part of the celebrations include NG200: National Treasures – a series of 12 simultaneous exhibitions. From 10 May 2024 and taking place at 12 different museums and galleries, paintings from the National Gallery London will be available to see across 12 regions of the four nations of the UK. The locations selected mean that more than half of the UK’s population will be located within an hour’s journey of a National Gallery masterpiece
