Van Gogh Miniature Vase
A beautiful replica item is taken directly from the National Gallery favourite, Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers.
The Vincent Miniature Vase has been created by hand on a potter’s wheel using methods perfected over hundreds of years. The pot was made with traditional earthenware clay. Once expertly created, the vase is painted with a white liquid slip before it is finished with a honey glaze.
As each vase is handmade it is unique and makes for a truly special gift or home accessory for the Vincent van Gogh or Impressionist art enthusiast. Please also be aware that due to this, there may be a slight variance in the appearance of your vase. The vase design was painted by Vincent van Gogh himself and even includes the signature exactly as it looks in the original painting, Sunflowers, matching closely the original pigment used. The signature is then applied expertly by stamp so each is accurate to Van Gogh's signature.
The Vincent Vase is made by Aylesford Pottery in Kent, a friendly pottery studio in the Southeast of England. They make a range of handmade ceramics, specialising in hand thrown (on the potter’s wheel), hand built and small-batch cast ceramics. Master potters, Alan Parris and Billy Byles run the pottery studio, creating a combination of studio pottery and commissions for various artists, restaurants, gift shops and architects.
Master potter Alan was originally inspired by Thomas Toft, an English Potter who worked in the Staffordshire Potteries during the 17th Century.
Due to the handmade nature of the vase, the appearance may vary slightly from the image shown
